A girl is found dead. Three suspects have been romantically involved with her. Who killed her? Is it Will Enfield, a down-at-his-heels actor who tries blackmail in an attempt to have a shot at stardom? Is it his successful brother-in-law who refuses to help Will in his career? Is it the psychologically unstable police officer who violently harasses the Enfield in hope of proving his guilt?
